2022 K.O.A.L.A
We had the pleasure of hosting our first Kites Over Awesome Lake Antoine on February 26th! It was a brisk, windy, but sunny day enjoyed by the entire community! The professional Wisconsin Kite Flyers are such an awesome group and so talented!
Kiddos were able to come early to the event and build a paper kite, decorate, and fly it at the park! We had patio heaters in pavilion 1 to keep us warm when out of the wind. We are so grateful for Strong Tower Church providing concessions as well. The event started at 11am with 2 community members singing the national anthem and a display of American flag kites waving in the wind. The kite display was held until about 2pm until they had to be taken down a bit early due to high winds. But overall, the outpouring enthusiasm from the community warmed our hearts! We are so grateful that we can host a community wide event that people can enjoy Lake Antoine Park in the winter!
Thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, board members, and kite flyers for such as great event! We cannot wait to do this again!

Our Crafty Flea market of 2019 was a HUGE success! Thank you to Jennifer Flynn, Newspapers in Education, and our very own, Doni Mae. Your motivation, efforts to plan, and execute this event are tremendously appreciated!
Updates: seating near Accessible Walkway, and important Beach Wall updates
Movies in the Park - 2019
Opening Weekend 2019 was a success! Saturday night featured a Benefit Concert by Stress Test, and Sunday had the opening of our Movies In The Park season with a showing of "Finding Nemo." Fun was had by all!
Park Clean Up - Saturday, May 11, 2019
Many hands make light work!
Thank you to everyone that volunteered their time and efforts for our Work Bee day at Lake Antoine! A great deal of raking took place, as well as painting, trash collection, and some general clean-up.
Every ounce of your energy is very much appreciated!
A special thanks goes out to the Menominee Range Gliders and the City Park Disc Golf Club for assembling and placing two new disc golf baskets at the north end of the park.
Also, a huge shout out to the Dickinson County Correctional Center volunteers and the families within our community for sharing part of your day with us!
